It has been almost a year that Tristan has been home. I can’t believe how quickly the time has gone by and how much has changed over this past year for Tristan as well as our family. God has richly blessed us beyond our imaginations over this last year that only He can receive all the glory.

I have loved seeing Brooklynn grow as a big sister and take this role on beautifully from the moment they met. They have a bond and a relationship that I can’t explain. I always knew Brooklynn would be an amazing sister. From very little she has always been so loving, compassionate, and genuinely caring for others. Her love for people runs deep into her core and watching her flourish in this as a big sister has been amazing.

Tristan’s budding personality has been so fun to watch as well. He too has a genuine joy that runs to is very core. He loves to snuggle, loves to giggle and play, and loves to be very much in the center of anything we are doing and participate in it.

I couldn’t be more grateful for the two children God has blessed us with. Not to mention, I am BEYOND grateful for my dear friend Kim Charie for documenting such beautiful pictures of my family! Kim and I have known each other since Brooklynn was 6 months old. We have watch each other’s families grow, shot weddings together, documented some of our most precious moments of life together. I couldn’t be more grateful for her talent and her gift of photos she has given us! Thank you Kim! I am forever grateful!
