This is a beautiful family Easter devotional with 40 lovely devotionals to walk and guide your family through Lent. The Way to the Savior devotional was written by Jeff and Abbey Land includes prayers, discussion questions, journaling pages to fill with Easter memories, and family activities.

One thing I enjoy about this family devotional are the illustrations. They are vibrant, full of color and immediately catch you eye. The devotionals themselves are simple to understand and would be great for children 12 and younger. They are easy for children to relate to and grasp as well as put into practice what they are learning. I would consider these devotionals as a lovely way to begin conversation about God’s goodness and what Jesus did on the cross. You can also do this devotional throughout the year. It doesn’t need to be JUST for Easter.

Christmas tends to be the time when many families do Advent and focus on a Savior coming to dwell amongst us. I have noticed that Easter and its importance has been forgotten by many. And while the Christmas season is beautiful, what Jesus did on the cross is the very reason He came to this Earth. Focusing on the Easter season, I would say, is even more critical and this is a wonderful resource and way to bring our hearts and minds back to the Cross and what Jesus did for you and for me.
